The beautiful and the fabulous gathered on the Soho House rooftop yesterday evening for drinks, dinner and a poolside performance by Twin Shadow, the new wave/pop project headed by musician George Lewis Jr. The band, which recently joined Florence + The Machine at Central Park and will be at Pitchfork Festival this weekend with the likes of Odd Future, Fleet Foxes and Animal Collective, played a brilliantly bizarre set that seemed to channel Grizzly Bear's funky sister -- not so surprising given that GB's Chris Taylor produced Twin Shadow's debut album, Forget.
