Damages | Season 3 on DVD!
Out (finally) on DVD is Damages: Season 3 via Sony. This was a brilliant season for the hit TV show about ruthless lawyer Patty Hewes (Glenn Close) and her protégé attorney Ellen Parson (Rose Byrne). Ellen is now working for the district attorney's office and Patty is trying to find the hidden assets of a Bernie Madoff-like crook Louis Tobin (Len Cariou), who committed suicide before he was indicted. And what a family this guy has -- from the ex-alcoholic son (Campbell Scott, who is truly great here) to the well-heeled mother (Lily Tomlin) ti the oily family lawyer (Martin Short) its dysfunction at its finest. Right at the beginning of the season we realize that a beloved member of the team is dead and Patty was sideswiped by a car, but it's a complicated road to how that all came about. We also learn a defining secret from Patty's past and Ellen finally gets closure for her fiancee's murder. It just doesn't get better than Damages' great writing, acting, this is another reason why it is a golden age for television lately

Puppies
Here at R.P.S Addict we are HUGE animal people, Dogs, Cats, Bunnies, Cows, Tigers, Frogs.. you name it someone in our Fam has it! We even made Gillie (official R.P.S Mascot) our Secretary. That being said I just saw this News Article that made my Eyes POP!
West Village pet shops have banned "drunken puppy buying." In the evenings, tipsy passersby stumble home from neighborhood bars, fall in love with puppies in the shop windows and drunkenly buy them...only to wake up the next morning and realize that they have a new puppy! Isn't that crazy?

Knock-Knock
Come and knock on my door [Come and knock my door]... I've been waiting for you [I’ve been waiting for you]... where the knockers are big, bold, glam and begging for you! Every door deserves an audacious little morsel; a bold suggestion that beckons the cordial. One that abolishes the mundane and honors the abnormal! A symbolic statement that defines its dweller[s]; a sensational treasure that's mount-worthy and stellar. Whether it's the lioness and her legendary roar or perhaps the lady of the house on your door, a knocker for your entrance is something to explore. When your door is decidedly rockin' you'll be astounded at who might come a knockin'!

Such an Inspiration to watch this short documentary. His view and passion on branding is absolutely spectacular.

Silver Shatter
I've been on the hunt for some shatter/crackle top coats for some time now. I've been dying to try one out. I recently came across a huge display of O.P.I. Silver Shatter, so naturally I was inclined to make a purchase. My nails had been painted a pretty coral color (also by O.P.I., but the name escapes me), so I applied one coat over each nail and watched as the silver top coat "shattered".
The top coat is fast drying and almost immediately after application begins to crack. Because of this, a liberal swipe of color works best.
